Forum Ventures is the leading early-stage fund, accelerator, and venture studio for B2B SaaS startups across North America. Founded in 2014, we’re on a mission to make the startup journey easier, more accessible, and more successful for early-stage founders. We provide funding, high-touch programming, 1:1 support,  investor introductions, and an active SaaS community to support founders through every step of their building journey. 

We are looking for a full-time Marketing Coordinator who will play a key role in building a winning VC brand to reach and attract the highest-quality early-stage B2b SaaS founders to our funds and program. This person will focus on creating visually compelling and engaging content across our channels, particularly LinkedIn, Twitter (X), our website, and email marketing, and supporting the marketing function as a whole. The ideal candidate will come with fresh ideas and a positive attitude to hit the ground running. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in Venture Capital and the Tech Startup ecosystem. 
You’ll join our community of incredible, inspiring founders, many of which are working to change the world for the better. Most importantly, you’ll help build a SaaS community that is truly inclusive, diverse, supportive, and helping founders realize their dreams.  

What you'll be doing:

  • Draft marketing materials, including blog posts, event invitations, social posts, newsletters, and landing pages
  • Create and schedule social media (LinkedIn & Twitter) posts for the company page and key members of our team in our brand tone using branded visuals to promote our events, founder accomplishments, and other news. Help celebrate and engage with our portfolio founders on social media
  • Draft drip email campaigns for post-event and post-content download communication for lead nurture 
  • Help manage our company website (hosted on Webflow), including minor updates, refreshing blog posts, and content migration 
  • Create and update branded templates for Pitch, Canva, Google, and other external-facing assets 
  • Track and report monthly on social accounts and Google Analytics 
  • Support with in-person events, networking with attendees and bringing positive energy to create great experiences
  • Support the manager on other creative, administrative, and strategic projects as required

 

Who you are:

  • 2-4 years experience in marketing, communications, business, writing, or PR or other experience in a relevant role 
  • You are creative, detail-oriented, and possess strong internal and external communication skills. 
  • Creative writer who can create compelling copy in line with brand tone. Excellent spelling and grammar is a must. 
  • Eye for design (Experience with Canva or Adobe Suite is a bonus)
  • Knowledge of digital marketing and analytics 
  • Proactive, fast learner, and able to change directions quickly as needed
  • Must be able to work autonomously on projects
  • Bonus point if you have experience working at a tech startup or in VC or knowledge of Google Suite, Hubspot, Airtable, Webflow 

Compensation:

  • $60 - 70,000 CAD
  • Carried interest in the fund
